How to Make Slime Activator
~ Mix the bag of borax powder (1 teaspoon) with 1 cup of warm water to create your borax activator. Mix until the borax dissolves completely. Store the activator for future use.
Hard or stiff slime?
Knead in some lotion (not recommended for clear slime as it will make it opaque and not clear) or let the slime sit in sunlight for some time, this way the slime naturally softens.
Sticky or Melted slime?
Add a couple drops of activator into slime and knead until it is not sticky. Make sure to add only a few drops at a time because too much will ruin the slime.
Cloud Slime Crumbling?
Cloud slime may feel crumply when you first play with it. Knead and fold the slime until it has a consistent texture. If the crumbling continues add 1/4 teaspoon regular lotion to the slime and knead it in.
Tips for Playing With Slime
~ Keep slime away from small children and pets without supervision. DO NOT EAT SLIME!
~ Keep your slime in the air tight container provided to prevent drying.
~ Keep slime away from hair, clothing, carpet, etc.
~ Slime may melt! Keep away from sources of heat to prevent it from melting. Add activator if melted.
~ Always wash hands before playing with slime because dirty and oily hands may ruin slime.
